The mother of the three missing Marokopa children, known as Cat, says she was the first person to spot Tom Phillips at Bunnings last year.

Maaka was last seen at the Papakura train station on 27 September, wearing a black sweatshirt and blue or black jeans.

The NZ Herald reports that a group of pig hunters thought they saw Phillips and his children in bushland near Marokopa and reported it to police on Thursday.

Khyzah, went missing from his home in the rural Hangaroa district of Gisborne and had not been seen since about 2pm on Sunday.

Around 200 people were searching for the missing boy on Sunday, with efforts recommencing early Monday morning.

Breanna Muriwai, 28, was last seen in August 2022 at Te Horo Beach on the Kāpiti Coast, and police said it was unusual for her to not stay in contact with her friends and family.

This afternoon, Police confirmed in a statement that Ramona is “safe and well”.
