A serious crash in the Hawke's Bay has resulted in a person being transported by helicopter in a critical condition.
Police and ambulance were called around 11am to a single-vehicle crash on State Highway 5 at Te Pohue, just south of Ohurakura Road.
No other significant injuries were reported.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
