The Easter weekend this year is completely different from last year and previous years as level 4 restrictions remain in place throughout the country.
Police remained highly visible this weekend with more checkpoints established to stop unnecessary travel. However, an increase in reckless driving and speeding has been seen as the motorways and main roads have cleared.
