Sonny Tau due for sentencing

Sonny Tau is expected to be sentenced on charges relating to the possession of protected Kukupa.

In May Raniera Sonny Tau pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice after he admitted he lied about whether he had shot five protected wood pigeons.

Tau could face three months of community detention, 100 hours of community service and a $25,000 fine.
