Hone Harawira is confident about standing again for the Te Tai Tokerau electorate in 2017 at the next General Election and plans to continue his fight outside of Parliament in the meantime.
Harawira lost the seat to Labour’s Kelvin Davis in this year’s election but the MANA Movement leader says his political journey is far from over.
He told Te Kāea that MANA is the voice of the poor and dispossessed and he plans to continue speaking up for those struggling.
Harawira says he has met with MANA members all over the country and they have given him some clear direction in terms of future potential partnerships MANA will undertake including the relationship with the Internet Party.
