The Crown has offered Tūhoe a settlement package which includes $170mil in financial redress, an apology from the Crown and co-management of Te Urewera.
From April 8, Te Uru Taumatua, who manages the claim, has organised a vote for the Tūhoe people to either ratify the deal or not.
